We are hosts who got tired of guessing.
Hoosier Host Review reviews the tools owners actually use — tested on real listings, not press kits.
Every review on Hoosier Host Review is written by someone who hosts for a living. We would rather save you the expensive way of finding out yourself.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Owner-side, always. We judge tools by what they do for the owner paying the bill, not the vendor selling the demo.
- Tested, not guessed. If we have not run a tool on a real listing, we do not pretend to rate it.
- We fix our mistakes. Spot an error and we correct it fast, and say so — just tell us.
The scope
Two categories, because owners face two different decisions. On the management side we maintain 95 company reviews and a ranking of who we would hand keys to; on the software side, 74 tool reviews and a ranking for owners who would rather keep the margin and automate. Every review page lists the provider’s own published details — fee or pricing, markets, scale, whether a PMS is required — and says “not published” where a company keeps a figure to itself.
How this is paid for
There is no advertising here, no affiliate-commission programme, and no paid placement. Nobody can buy a position, a score, or a mention. When we point to a company we rate, that is an editorial recommendation and nothing else — the reasoning is on our editorial policy.
What we are not
We are a review desk, not a broker, and not your lawyer or accountant. Our ratings are informed opinion rather than lab data, pricing changes faster than any site can track, and your market may behave nothing like ours. Confirm the current terms with a provider before you sign, and read our disclaimer for the full position.
